RECSAM, as a leading institution dedicated to advancing education in Science and Mathematics, has long been at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Every two years, we convene with a singular mission - to nurture, support, and empower our region's youth through quality education and research. This year, we have further amplified our commitment by enhancing and enriching the SSYS program with new dimensions to propel science and mathematics education to greater heights. Our dedication to shaping the future of Science and Mathematics education is unwavering. Through collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Education Malaysia, CHEVRON, SEAOHUN and SEAMEO TROPMED, we strive to cultivate a generation of young scientists equipped with the skills, knowledge, and mindset to tackle the challenges of tomorrow. The theme "Youth for One Health through STEM Innovation" encapsulates our vision, emphasizing the critical role of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in driving sustainable development and societal progress. As we convene here today, I extend a heartfelt welcome to our participants from across the region.
