Dr. Mariam Othman obtained her BA(Hon's) in Statistics in 1987 at University of Guelph, Canada. Then, she  completed her Diploma in Education at Specialist Teacher Training College, Kuala Lumpur and was posted to St John's Institution, Kuala Lumpur for 12 years.  In 1997, she received her M.Ed. on Evaluation and Measuremet at University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur.  In 2003, she joined Educational Planning and Research Division (EPRD),MOE and continued to further her studies in doctoral programme at University of Manchester, UK from 2007-2010. After completed her Ph.D in 2010, she was posted to EPRD again in Projection Sector until 10 September 2019.
